In connection with the construction of a new pump station along the Lågen river in Sel Municipality, Geoteknia AS carried out the detailed design of a temporary supported excavation with sheet pile.
The assignment was performed as subconsultant to Nordplan AS as part of the Ulvolden–Skansen pipeline project involving trenchless crossing beneath the river. Geoteknia delivered geotechnical design calculations, tender drawings, and technical descriptions in accordance with NS 3420.
The solution ensures safe and feasible construction of the pump station in a river-adjacent area with challenging ground conditions.
