Sirdal kommune skal bygge ny gang- og sykkelbru over Sira ved Tonstad sentrum. Brua er en firespenns samvirkebru med total lengde ca. 107 m, med lengste enkeltspenn på ca. 30m. Brua skal fundamenteres på betongfundamenter på stedlige masser av sand og grus. Pilarfundamentene i elven er planlagt støpt i spuntkasser med OK fundament ca. 0,3 m under endelig elvebunn. Brukarene er planlagt gravd ut med åpne graveskråninger.
